This design is for anyone who has ever tried to learn Slovene; a language with grammar so complex, it has been known to cause brain damage.
Slovenes are immensely proud of their language; not just because they have preserved it despite numerous hostile takeovers, but because it’s one of the very few languages left that uses the rare and archiac ‘dvojina’ - the dual plural.
Combined with its 6 ‘sklonov’ (declensions), this language is a bewildering trip-hazard for anyone trying to speak it. Which means it’s all the more appreciated when you do make the effort.
Inspired by a much-loved classic Slovenian brand of cigarettes that were originally made in Ljubljana, the Slovene Grammar design will appeal to all who have dared to take on the gloriously head-twisting tounge of Slovenščina.
